Both existing and new patients are welcome to contact us about an urgent dental problem. Call 020 8546 6546.
Emergency dental appointments
An emergency dental appointment costs from £70 and includes an assessment and one small X-ray where required. Treatment is not included in the emergency appointment fee. The dentist will explain any recommended treatment and associated costs before proceeding.
If you are unsure whether your problem needs an emergency appointment, call us on 020 8546 6546 and tell our team what has happened and what symptoms you are experiencing.
Who is it for?
- Severe or persistent toothache
- Broken or damaged teeth
- Lost or broken fillings or crowns
- A dental abscess or suspected dental infection
What to expect
- 01
Assessment
Your dentist will first ask about your symptoms and examine the affected tooth or area.
- 02
X-ray where needed
An X-ray may be recommended where it is needed to help diagnose the problem.
- 03
Finding the cause
The immediate priority is to identify the cause of the problem and decide what treatment is appropriate.
- 04
Treatment
Depending on the diagnosis, it may be possible to provide treatment during the emergency visit, or you may need a further appointment for definitive treatment such as a filling, root canal treatment, crown or extraction.
When should I go to A&E instead?
Call 999 or go to A&E if you have a serious injury to your face or jaw, heavy bleeding from your mouth that will not stop, or severe swelling of your mouth, lips, throat or neck that is affecting your breathing. If you need urgent dental care when our practice is closed, contact NHS 111 for advice.
